Every village has a story. Some stories live in its people, some in its traditions, and some in the little things we grow up seeing every day.
For us, that story begins in Aldal village, Raichur district, Karnataka.
Village life reminds us of the things that make a home special — traditional recipes passed down through generations, the fragrance of flowers, the beauty of festivals, and the wisdom our elders share with us. These things may seem simple, but they carry memories, love and a part of who we are.
As life changes and the world moves forward, we feel that these beautiful traditions deserve to stay with us. This feeling is one of the reasons we started Sri Chirayush.
Our Village, Our People
Behind every village are people whose lives are deeply connected to the land, their families and their traditions. Our farmers, artisans and village women are an important part of this story.
For generations, village women have preserved family recipes, traditional skills and everyday knowledge. Much of this wisdom is passed from mother to daughter and from one generation to the next, often without being written down.
We believe these stories and skills deserve recognition. As Sri Chirayush grows, we hope to create opportunities for village women and local communities while celebrating the knowledge and traditions they have carried for generations.
To us, progress means moving forward without forgetting the people and values that brought us here.
Our Connection with Nature
Nature has always been part of Indian living. Flowers, grains, herbs, spices and other ingredients have found their place in our kitchens, homes and traditions for generations.
Growing up with an appreciation for these things teaches us to value simplicity and respect what nature provides.
At Sri Chirayush, we want to bring that feeling into everyday life through thoughtfully chosen products inspired by traditional living. We believe that caring for nature begins with small choices and a greater appreciation for the resources around us.
We also believe that something should not lose its value simply because its first purpose has been fulfilled.
Giving Temple Flowers a Second Life
Flowers hold a special place in Indian culture. They are offered in temples, used during festivals and shared on important occasions. They carry feelings of faith, gratitude and devotion.
But what happens to these flowers after their purpose is complete?
This question inspired us to explore ways of giving discarded temple flowers a second life through our incense journey. Instead of letting these flowers go to waste, we wanted to find a meaningful way to use them again.
For us, this is more than making a product. It is about respecting something that has already been part of a beautiful tradition and finding another purpose for it.
Sometimes, meaningful ideas begin with simply looking at familiar things in a different way.
Keeping Indian Culture Alive
India’s culture lives in everyday moments — a lamp lit in the evening, a prayer at home, a traditional meal prepared for a festival, folk art on a wall or a story told by a grandparent.
Every region has its own customs, flavours, crafts and ways of celebrating life. These traditions connect us to our families and remind us of the generations that came before us.
We want Sri Chirayush to celebrate this richness. Our aim is to bring traditional Indian values closer to modern homes, so that our heritage remains a living part of everyday life rather than something we remember only on special occasions.
Because tradition is not just about the past. It is also about what we choose to carry into the future.
More Than a Brand
Sri Chirayush began with an appreciation for our roots, but our vision reaches beyond one product.
We want to build a brand that brings together meaningful products inspired by Indian traditions, nature and everyday living. Our journey includes incense, pooja essentials, traditional foods, spices and other products that have a place in our homes and culture.
Each product has its own purpose, but the thought behind them remains the same — to appreciate our heritage, respect traditional knowledge and bring a little more meaning to everyday life.
We are at the beginning of this journey, and there is still much to learn and build. We hope to grow step by step while staying connected to the values that inspired us in the first place.
Why We Started Sri Chirayush
We started Sri Chirayush because we believe that our roots are worth remembering.
They live in the food we share, the traditions we follow, the people who teach us, the nature around us and the little things that make a house feel like home.
We want to create something meaningful from these values — something that respects our past while finding its place in the present.
Our journey is also a reminder that even small beginnings can carry a bigger purpose. By celebrating village life, traditional knowledge, local communities and our connection with nature, we hope to contribute in our own way to keeping these values alive.
We may begin in a small village, but the stories, traditions and values we carry belong to something much bigger.
Sri Chirayush is our way of staying connected to where we come from, while sharing a part of that heritage with the world.
From Our Village Roots to Your Home
Every product has a purpose, but behind Sri Chirayush is a feeling that goes beyond products — a love for our roots, respect for our people and a wish to keep our traditions alive.
This is our beginning, and we hope you will be a part of our journey.
Sri Chirayush
Rooted in tradition, made for life.
